2. Scope and Applicability

- User-Provided Inputs: Any content you submit (e.g., questions, assignments) is processed in real-time and is not stored after your session ends
- Operational Data: Only anonymized, non-identifying technical data may be processed briefly for info and system reliability, and is deleted promptly
- Technical Information: Our servers may collect certain technical data about your device and software, including browser type, operating system, IP address, and domain name, purely for service functionality

- AI service providers must adhere to confidentiality requirements no less protective than our own

- We comply with FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other relevant privacy laws
- We do not store student data, so in the event of a legal request, we typically have no data to provide
- Parental and institutional rights to review or delete data are supported, but since we do not store student data, such requests typically result in confirmation that no data is held
- For legal requests, we may be required to disclose your PII. We may also disclose information if we determine disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms or protect our operations or users
10. Security
- We implement industry-standard security controls, including encryption in transit and at rest for any transient data
